Terms and Conditions
Showerloop KIT 2020

The scope of this document outlines the terms and conditions that dictate the relationship between the Showerloop Oy the organisation and any present or future users of its products. Distributors and manufacturers should refer to the Open Hardware License.

By purchasing the Showerloop KIT ​or a variation of it (from now on referred to simply as the Showerloop KIT) you​ ​acknowledge the following:

●  At the time of writing the Showerloop KIT is classified as a functioning prototype. Although, the current design of the system has been proven to work in various tests, the product in its current state is not a finalised version or ‘market ready’ product. In the future, the design and its various components may be continued to be modified, improved, documented and shared with others.

●  Use of the Showerloop KIT is at your own risk. Showerloop and its staff will not be held responsible for any injury or property damage arising from the use and installation of the Showerloop KIT.

●  By obtaining the DIY Showerloop KIT you are also agreeing to join the Showerloop pilot-project and collaborating with Showerloop team for a period of one year from the delivery date. ​As a participant of the pilot-project you agree to communicate with Showerloop and provide user feedback regarding the installation, operation or servicing of your Showerloop unit. The minimum requirement for feedback is at least a clear high resolution image of a completed installation.

●  In purchasing the Showerloop KIT you are eligible for a minimum of 10 hours of tech support but support will not necessarily be limited to that duration. We will do our best to assist you with the product.

●  Showerloop offers a ​limited guarantee on the individual components of the the Showerloop KIT. In most cases the parts guarantee offered by Showerloop will be the same warranty offered by the original manufacturer(s). 2 years in the EU. All other issues relating to the functionality of individual components will be decided on a case by case basis.

●  Should ​you ​be dissatisfied with the Showerloop KIT you will have 30 days from the date of delivery to communicate to Showerloop the organisation, in writing, that you intend to return the product​. After this, you will have 14 working days to deliver the Showerloop KIT and all its components to the current address of the Showerloop organisation.

●  You will also be responsible for paying the return postage fee to ship Showerloop KIT and all its components to the current address of the Showerloop organisation.

●  Upon confirmation of the returned DIY Showerloop KIT you will be eligible for a refund of the total paid price you paid for Showerloop minus the administration costs (maximum of 15% of total price).
