Bunch of videos aboot the project

Just trying to get more stuff out there. Sorry to everyone that I said I do something soon. Life took over and I didn't get around to it.... :(

Low poly showerstall for the Design Museum. Enter & Encounter Exhibit

So sometime at the start of the year I was asked to bring a demo of Showerloop to an art/design/futurism kinda exhibit thing. While we'd been planing the big brown box to be our test model it was my backup for the exhibit while I pondered what the heck I should do. We didn't have anything that looked quite nice enough so we went with this.

Evolution3? Lowpoly, Ulkohuussi, Outhouse, Designer outhouse, Arkku, Coffin, Shower, Sensory deprivation tank, bathtub, boat, house, chair, furniture... These are some of the things the prototype and life size model have been called.

Special Thanks!

Somehow getting this funky contraption from conception to delivery was an amazing and extremely last minute (ain't it always?) production that in no way would have worked out as swimmingly well unless all the right people showed up at the right time to lend a hand. I'm so grateful and so should you because this wouldn't have happened without them. Thank you so much for alleviating my panic :)

Solomon from the Fablab, this wouldn't have happened without your trust.  Hannes and Nikita for helping me get it to the museum, Juha and Niklas, there are no words, Edu, naturally. Cindy for helping that night while laser cutting until 11 pm, Kaisa and Paula from the exhibit and Ville at the museum for being so chill and enthusiastic and helpful. Also Mika at the Koskisen plywood factory/warehouse for finding me this awesome material!

Niklas printed this little test piece at the FABLAB for me before I made the bigger one. I'd spent all night making the model but still wasn't quite sure about the shape in real life. It looked cool enough. I tried smoothing it up in the top and the sides with a dremel but the results were not so good on the PLA.
